Siddharth's Epic Reply To Insensitive Question About His Love Life

Siddharth, who is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Takkar, during a recent media interaction, was asked an insensitive question about his love life by a journalist and a film distributor. He was asked a question in Telugu, which roughly translates to, "Generally in movies, your love stories are a success, but your love stories in real life are not. Have you ever introspected about this?" Siddharth's reply to the question was this, "I have never thought about this even once, not in my dreams, not while seeing my face in the mirror but since you are really concerned about my love life, both of us can talk about it in private. Others have nothing to do with it, and it has nothing to do with the Takkar movie as well."

Check out the video here:

"Will Not Compromise On...": Sachin Pilot Amid Tussle With Ashok Gehlot

Days after the Congress leadership projected that the tussle in its Rajasthan unit was on hold, Sachin Pilot on Wednesday made it clear that he will not budge on his demands from the Ashok Gehlot government.

On a visit to his Tonk assembly constituency, the dissident Congress leader indicated that it was the last day before what was being seen as an ultimatum to Mr Gehlot ends.

"So, let us see what happens tomorrow," he told reporters.

The feud between the chief minister and his former deputy escalated a few weeks back with Mr Pilot holding a daylong fast demanding action by the state government against "corruption" during the previous BJP term in the state.

And while ending a five-day foot march later, he said this and his two other demands should be met by this month-end or he will launch a state-wide agitation.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former party president Rahul Gandhi met the two Rajasthan leaders on Monday. The party said they both had agreed to work unitedly.

But in Tonk, Mr Pilot signalled that he is sticking to his stand.

"I want to say it again that the issues that I had raised, particularly the corruption issue... vast corruption and loot in the previous BJP rule... action will have to be taken on them.

"As far as getting justice for the youth is concerned, I think there is no possibility of any compromise on it," Mr Pilot said, referring to exams for government jobs being cancelled after paper leaks.

"I had said on May 15 that the state government should take action on the issues of corruption by the BJP government and the youth," he said, reminding that this was the "last day of the month".

Pilot said he is waiting for action by the Gehlot government.

"Talks were held in Delhi the day before yesterday. They (the leadership) said the responsibility of taking action lies with the state government. So, let us see what happens tomorrow," he said.

The Congress on Monday had sought to project that all was fine now with its Rajasthan unit, where the two leaders have tussled over leadership since the party's government came to power.

There were suggestions that the party had worked out a formula for both the state leaders to work together and fight the year-end assembly elections unitedly.

Mr Pilot said the filling of vacant posts at the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) was necessary for its better functioning.

He said the youths who live in rented accommodation while preparing for competitive examinations suffer when papers get leaked. So the aspirants should get financial compensation in such situations, he added.

Referring to the Congress win in the Karnataka Assembly elections, he said the BJP lost as it repeatedly "deceived" people.

"They talk about double engines. But now those engines have started seizing," Pilot said. The BJP uses the "double engine" analogy to claim that there is development when the party is in power both in the state and at the Centre.

Pilot said the BJP regime in Karnataka was corrupt and the Congress had accused it of being a "40 percent commission" government. The people agreed with this and voted for the Congress, he claimed.

While ending his five-day 'Jan Sangharsh Yatra' in Jaipur, Pilot had made three demands -- reconstitution of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), compensation to youths affected by the leak of exam papers, and a high-level probe into allegations of corruption against the previous Vasundhara Raje government.

"UPA Left Shattered Economy": Union Minister On Morgan Stanley Report

Morgan Stanley's report on how India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed and gained a position in the world order in less than a decade is the "best and sharpest indictment" of the Congress-led UPA's "lost decade between 2004 and 2014", Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said on Wednesday.

Speaking to PTI, he said the report reminds Indians how the Congress-led UPA had in 2014 left "a shattered economy". Nine years later, India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies in the world with record FDI, the minister said.

"This report that says how India is transformed in less than a decade under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in my opinion the best and sharpest indictment of the UPA's lost decade between 2004 and 2014," he said.

In the report, Morgan Stanley said significant scepticism about India, particularly with overseas investors, ignores the significant changes that have taken place in India, especially since 2014.

Rejecting criticism that India has not delivered its potential (despite it being the second-fastest-growing economy and among the top-performing stock markets over the past 25 years) and that equity valuations are too rich, saying such a view ignores the systematic reforms in the last nine years.

Chandrasekhar said, "The report goes into details and it reminds Indians that how in 2014 the Congress' UPA had left a shattered economy, almost 14 quarters of runaway inflation, 12 quarters of decline in economy and industrial production, investors running away from the country, a broken financial sector that was characterised by crony corrupt lending by banks, and international big investors like Telenor, Nokia running away from India." "That was the situation in 2014 that this report has rightfully captured," he told PTI.

The Union minister said India has come through the Covid pandemic, one of the "most disruptive times" in the history of the world, and emerged as a stronger nation that has earned "all the respect of the world".

"Whether it is the formalisation of the economy, tax rates that are comparative with the world, and infrastructure... We have become the largest infrastructure in the world today.

"We are the fastest growing innovation economy in the world. We are becoming a technology power in the world... Most importantly, from the eleventh largest economy in the world, we have become the fifth in a short span of nine years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he added.

Chandrasekhar said the report indicates that Prime Minister Modi has not only been working for the growth of the nation but he has expanded the economy and brought stability and security.

"He has created good governance despite the fact that in 2014 the UPA and the Congress government had left a total mess for Prime Minister Modi ji to inherit," he added.

Head is swirling with plants and pots and lights and mattresses and plates and cushions and chairs and tables, forks and spoons, sinks and bins…. aaargh!!! Doing up a house is not easy."

Take a look at the post here:

A few weeks earlier, Sonakshi Sinha spoke about the objectifying nature of the dialogues of her film Rowdy Rathore. Sonakshi Sinha admitted candidly that she would not feature in such scenes today. The actress told Film Companion, “Today where I stand, I would never do something like that. I was so young then that I was not thinking in this direction. For me, it was a fact that I am doing a film with Prabhu Deva.  I am doing a film with Akshay Kumar, oh my god – who would say no to something like that? Sanjay Leela Bhansali was producing it. Why would I say no? At that time, my thinking was very very different. Today, if I would read a scene like that, I would not do it. I have garnered enough experience. I have matured as a person…Things change with time, and so have I.”

Meanwhile, Sonakshi is being praised for her role in Amazon Prime's Dahaad. In NDTV's review of Dahaad, Saibal Chatterjee wrote, “The performances are marked by restraint and impressive acuity, with Sonakshi Sinha shining in a role that gives her room to convey a gamut of emotions. Vijay Verma stands out as the seemingly meek Hindi professor. Gulshan Devaiah is terrific as an incorruptible police officer. Sohum Shah delivers a flawless performance as the conflicted cop.”

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in Kakuda and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

He Killed Delhi Teen For Rejecting Him In Front Of Her Friends: Cops

Accused Sahil planned for two days the horrific killing of the 16-year-old girl carried out on Sunday evening in the Shahbad Dairy area here after she had rebuffed him in front of her friends and refused to continue their relationship, police claimed on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old accused was sent to two-day police custody by a court. Police officials investigating the case claimed the killing was pre-planned and Sahil was waiting for the victim in a bylane to attack her on May 28.

On Tuesday, new CCTV footage surfaced on social media in which Sahil could be purportedly seen talking to a person just minutes before committing the brutal crime.

During interrogation, Sahil confessed to the murder and told investigators that the victim and her friends had threatened to beat him up if he continued to pressure her to patch up with him, the police claimed.

The victim was stabbed over 20 times and bludgeoned to death on Sunday evening allegedly by Sahil in a busy bylane of the Shahbad Dairy area of northwest Delhi as passers-by looked on in fear and disbelief.

Police said that Sahil had bought the knife used in the crime from Haridwar around 15 days ago. After the murder, he threw it in bushes in Rithala while fleeing to his aunt's residence in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

The Delhi Police sought the custody of Sahil, stating that he frequently changed his statements and the weapon used for committing the offence was yet to be recovered, sources said.

According to the police, the victim was found to have 34 wounds on her body and her skull was ruptured.

The aunt of Sahil, who lives in Bulandshahr, demanded suitable punishment for the crime committed by him.

"Sahil should be punished for what he has done. He did this to that girl today, tomorrow he can do the same to us," Shammo, his aunt, told reporters.

"He should be punished for what he (Sahil) has done. We are saying this with folded hands, whatever the punishment may be, beat him or hang him or whatever you do, he should be punished. We have nothing to do with him," she said.

According to the police, Sahil and the teenager were in relationship since June 2021 but had frequent quarrels, and things took a turn for the worse in the last eight days after she told him that she wanted to break up with him.

A senior police official said that during interrogation, Sahil claimed that the girl had started meeting her ex-boyfriend with whom she was in a relationship for three to four years, but they continued their "friendship" even after their break up.

Sahil told police that the teen again developed closeness with her ex-boyfriend as he was doing better financially, this was also one of the reasons which led to their strained relationship.

She was not happy with Sahil and wanted to end their relationship, the police said, adding that the ex-boyfriend who is currently in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh has been called to join the investigation.

"When the teen along with two friends Bhawna and Jhabru were in her locality two days ago, Sahil came there and asked her to continue their relationship.

"The girl asked him to stay away from her as she did not want to continue her relationship with him. Her friend Jhabru warned him to stay away from her," the officer said.

The police said that Sahil decided to eliminate the teen as she insulted him in front of her friends, adding that her friend Neetu also used her husband's name to threaten Sahil, saying that he is a criminal and he would teach Sahil a lesson once he comes out of jail.

According to another official, on the day of the incident, Sahil had consumed alcohol in the afternoon.

The teen, who was returning after changing her dress in a public toilet in order to attend the birthday party of her friend's child, was attacked by the accused with a knife multiple times and later hit by a stone slab.

"After killing her, Sahil went to a nearby park and stayed there for a while. Later, he went to Rithala metro station where, as per his claims, he threw the weapon in the bushes.

"He reached Anand Vihar bus terminal and took a bus for Bulandshahr in UP. A call at his home led police to nab him from Uttar Pradesh," the official said.

Police said the mobile phone of the accused will be checked. His social media accounts will be analysed to verify whether he was in touch with other girls or not.

Meanwhile, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has sought a report from the Delhi government and the city police over the brutal killing.

Leaders from the BJP, AAP, and the Congress on Tuesday met the family members of the teen.

While AAP leader and Delhi minister Atishi conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the victim's family.

Atishi slammed Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena and alleged that "such incidents can be averted if LG takes responsibility." "Daughters of Delhi are facing violence every day. Such incidents can be averted only if the LG takes responsibility," she said.

BJP MP Hans Raj Hans who met the girl's family members Tuesday morning said no amount of money can bring their daughter back.

Delhi Congress President Anil Chaudhary, who also visited the family members of the victim, said "blame game begins" between Kejriwal and LG every time the "government is held accountable."

Super light and extremely versatile, idli is rich in fibre and protein and also keeps you full for a longer period of time. A Twitter user, identified as Ankit.Today, recently shared his dislike for this delicious meal. And, surprisingly many people agreed with him. Sharing an “unpopular opinion,” he wrote, “I cannot stand the drowning in ghee and podi idlis served in a lot of popular joints in Bangalore”. Further, the user stated two reasons why he dislikes ghee podi idli. Ankit said “death by calories” and “ghee overdose” turns him off.
“Give me fresh, hot, soft idlis and a good chutney and I'm super happy,” he added.

"M5 Dhoni": How IPL Franchises Reacted To CSK's Record-Equalling Title Win

Thanks to this victory, they are now tied with Mumbai Indians as the most successful franchise in the history of the competition. It was also the fifth win for MS Dhoni as skipper - a feat that only Rohit Sharma has achieved. The match faced several rain interferences but CSK were able to keep their calm and with 10 runs needed from the final two balls of the match, Ravindra Jadeja stepped up to the occasion and finished it in style.

It was a thrilling end to IPL 2023 which saw the most number of 200+ scores by the sides and a surprising number of high-score chases. In the aftermath of CSK's victory, all franchises took to Twitter to congratulate the winners and hail the brilliance of MS Dhoni for securing another title for his side.

Dhoni also dropped a major update regarding his potential retirement at the post-match presentation.

"If you circumstantially if you see it's the best time to announce the retirement. The easy thing for me to say is thank you and retire. But the hard thing to do is to work hard for nine months and try to play one more IPL season. The body has to hold up. But with the amount of love I have received from CSK fans, it would be a gift for them to play one more season. The way they have shown their love and emotion, it is something I need to do for them," said Dhoni told Harsha Bhogle during the ceremony.

"It is the last part of my career. It started over here and the full house was chanting my name. It was my same thing in Chennai, but it will be good to come back and play whatever I can. The kind of cricket I play, they feel they can play that cricket. There is nothing orthodox about it and I like to keep it simple."
